Not A Super Saturday for the U8 SDFL

Ardmore Rovers U8 SDFL took on Granada in Mount Albany Grounds on Saturday morning.

The game started and was end to end not that any one had any good chances but we found it hard, why i don't know but we lost our shape many times and just forgot how to pass the ball to each other.
Granada scored a soft goal, one we don't usually concede, the first half finished 1-0 to the home team and we were just not in it.

The second half started and went the same way as the first half, we could not get at their goal keeper with any good efforts on goal.
Granada scored a second goal in the last five minutes of the half and finished off the game. The boys were just not at the races today.

It will be hard to take as it is only our second loss in League football since 29/04/12 when coolboy beat us in St.Kilians 2-3 when we played in the Wicklow league.

With a bit of luck we will start again and be better for it.
