The Ardmore Rovers End Of Season Presentations for 2022 took place at the weekend

Ardmore Rovers celebrated the end of the 2021/22 season in style last Saturday, June 25th, as they held their End of Season Presentations in St. Kilians Community School Sports Hall.

There was a fantastic turnout of players, parents, guardians, grandparents and siblings on site to celebrate each team and their Club Person of the Year winner, it was fantastic to see such great support for the club and we give big thanks to all those who came along.

It was wonderful to see our first Girls Only teams in attendance for the first time at an end of season presentation and our U10 Girls White Sunday team were the recipients of the coveted Frank Cobbe Memorial Perpetual Cup for Team of the Year, well done girls its well deserved considering the effort and dedication you all put in this year!

Also presented was the Ardmore Rovers F.C. Perpetual Trophy for Personality of the Year which was presented to a very worthy recipient in Darren Murray who received the trophy from pervious holder, Dan Kiely. Darren moved to the club in 2015 with a group of U14's who he had coached within another local club, Wolfe Tone, since they were 7 years old. Darren managed to keep the lads together and enjoying their football all the way to our Senior Section and they will now make up the backbone of our Senior Squads. When called upon to help the club with any variety of events, Darren was always willing to pitch in and was a great support to the executive committee over the years as well as helping to source sanitising equipment during the pandemic to ensure we as a club could continue to function and provide football for the children of Bray under the protocols put in place by the FAI. A massive congrats to Darren and we know you will always be ready to support us where and when you can!
