Here’s your chance to create the new Club Crest for Ardmore Rovers F.C.

In 2019 Ardmore Rovers F.C., will be 40 years old and the club hope to enter their anniversary year with a new, more modern and representative club crest.

The current club crest, created back when the club was a mere fledgling, has served the club very well but with the 40th anniversary just around the corner, the ongoing club initiative, Ardmore 2020, it’s the perfect time to bring the Crest up to date to reflect the current values and ambitions of the club.

So, you can make your mark on a piece of Ardmore Rovers History by creating the new club crest and in doing so you could win yourself the first Ardmore Rovers Jersey and Jacket baring your crest design and a €50 voucher for The Martello, Strand Road, Bray, a long-time supporter of the club and sponsors of this competition.

The criteria for the new crest are simple and laid out below:
1. The current Crest Shape is unique so will need to remain.
2. Football will need to be represented.
3. The Community Spirit of the club must also shine through in the new crest.
4. “Ardmore Rovers F.C.” and “Founded 1979” will need to be included.

Your design does not need to be professionally presented, the club will have it refined should it be picked as the new crest.

To enter the competition, create your design using the criteria set out above and then email it to socialmedia@ardmorerovers.com. Five possible crest designs will be chosen from the entries received, these will each win a €50 Martello voucher. One of these five designs will be chosen as the outright winner of the crest design competition and win the first Jersey and Jacket baring the new crest. The winner will be picked by a very special club representative alongside the club executive committee.

Designs will need to be sent in to the club by Midnight, Friday, 30th November 2018 with the winning designed being revealed on the 1st January 2019.
